Sitting is killing you!!

As we enter the second decade of the 21st century, there is one thing nearly all modern Americans have in common: we sit all the time. Though our great shift towards computer-based work has done great things for productivity, it has, unfortunately, done terrible things for our health. From increased risk of heart disease and obesity in the long term, to sharply hampered cholesterol maintenance in the short term, the negative health effects of sitting are starting to weigh heavily against the benefits. Even the medical field – the greatest advocates of reducing sitting time – is plagued by this new health issue. Though doctors and nurses get plenty of walking time, it usually falls to the secretaries, billers, and coders to do all the sitting. And, as we can see, something has to change.

    Da...ehemm..betul posisi jah ko? Bangun, bangun.. gi jalan2 ke pantry..heheh. K.ida masa keje dulu, duduk 135degree bila rasa mengantuk yg teramat.. hiii. Okla, x sir dok lama depe komputer.

    ps:boleh tak nak salahkan teknologi menyebabkan kita suka duduk2?;)

    Da, nak respond previous post.. Maksu ni walaupun berat dah turun tapi badan dah kembali flabby esp tang perut & peha. Mcm tak turun berat pun. Ini sebab kurang senaman dan makan pun tak jaga.. asyik2 goreng pisang, keropok lekor, big apple donut, rotiboy & cheesecake. Ugghh

  5. Maksu..first sentence tu tergelak Ida. Maksu jagalah 56kg tu, jgnla kasi naik balik, sayang tau. Lagi sekilo maksu dah capai target. Ida rasa Ida nak cecah 57kg pun susah (sbb x disiplin.. hihi). Lagipun, bila Ida masuk 58kg jer, badan rasa ringan sikit, Ida dah rasa teramat gumbira dan mulalah nak treat myself dgn makan2 balik :P

  6. Actually maksu expect berat akan naik dlm 2-3kg lepas ni sbb I'm on medication. Nasib baik start from 56kg, kalau start from 60kg lagi haru...
